DJE Kapital AG is a leader in Wealth Management, fund management and fund distribution in the German-speaking markets of Europe. Since its founding by Dr. Jens Ehrhardt in 1974, we have established a reputation as a trusted partner for both private and institutional investors, with total assets under management and advisory of EUR 10.0 billion (as of 30/04/2012).
With respect to funds, our capabilities range from advisory and management to administration services for equity, bond, mixed and fund of funds. In addition to our unique investment approach, we also provide risk management and controlling services for mutual funds. Further, through our Luxembourg-based investment company DJE Investment S.A., we have the ability to launch funds for third parties when necessary.
The main goal for our around 100 employees based in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland is to attain investment success in both bear and bull markets. We view our independence from banks as a major prerequisite to this, which enables us to make investment decisions without conflicts of interest for our investors.
Our successful research team follows a value and low-risk investment approach. Successful analysis goes far beyond the simple gathering and processing of data: We make it our business to develop state of the art analytical concepts to ensure successful buy and sell decisions. Dr. Jens Ehrhardt, founder, majority shareholder and managing director, developed our acclaimed and awarded investment approach, the "FMM-methodology", in the 1970s. Together with his team, he still continuously fine-tunes his investment approach, which consists of fundamental, monetary and chart indicators, to take account of the ever changing financial and socio-political environment.
